Wow, it’s been a whirlwind week! And the New Year is just around the corner!

I hope all of you that celebrate Christmas got just what you wanted, rather than coal in your stocking…unless it’s been compressed into diamonds, that is!

I had a wonderful dinner at my house with family and dear friends; both old and new. Great food, great wine, great company!  I always want Christmas to be like Thanksgiving; where the focus is on sharing and gratitude, and this year it really was!

That’s not to say that everything was perfect…there are definitely some challenges that each of the families are dealing with right now, but in this moment, it’s all alright!  Everyone had everything they needed…and we all had each other!

Love, and friendship. Being here now. And gratitude…with a capital “G.”  These are the things I look forward to focusing on in the coming year, and the feelings I will carry with me along the way.
