Yes, O’Klock is my real name. I’m the oldest of five daughters, and decided to keep my family name.
My goal with my blog is to inspire you to live healthfully and beautifully, and to think about aging differently. We can’t hold back the hands of time, but there is no need to be “old” because of the number of years people have been enjoying you!
Here, I share things that I’ve figured out. And for things I don’t know, I ask for advice from brilliant people who are great examples to me. (Be prepared: sometimes I may toss in a “horrible warning!”)
I hope you will find my blog irreverent in all the right places, and useful.
I am in a wonderful relationship with my sweetie, and I have a grown son, an artist. He makes art while coping with MS.
I have been a closet writer since my first play in 3rd grade. I’ve been dabbling in short stories, children’s books, and poetry ever since. I wrote the book, “Sick and Tired…and Sexy,“, about how I do, and you can, live beautifully with chronic illness.
I love to read almost everything (except romance novels). I enjoy travel, and both photography and cooking as hobbies.
I want to prove that you can have the whole enchilada (just not too often) and that “You CAN be sexy past sixty!”
The clock’s ticking…
